  • Pioneered and achieved excellence in Ear Implants and ear Reconstruction in 2008.
  • First Maxillofacial & Oral Surgeon in Gujarat to practice Skin lasers in Maxillofacial Region for aesthetic skin treatments using Intense Pulsed Light & Nd Yag Lasers.
  • First maxillofacial & Oral Surgeon to practice & achieve excellence in Hair Transplantation in Gujarat.
  • First Maxillofacial & Oral Surgeon to start practicing Maxillofacial Distraction Osteogenesis actively in Gujarat.
  • First Maxillofacial & Oral Surgeon to Operate in team Lefort III Osteotomy + Lefort I Osteotomy in same patient to treat facial deformity due to syndrome in 2008.
  • First Maxillofacial & Oral Surgeon to receive an International Award by an European Organization for operating more than 1000 Cleft lip and Cleft palate cases in 2009.
  • Have received numerous awards and appreciation trophies by NGO,s and other private organizations for distinguished services in the field of Humanity.

Awards during career

  • Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome : A multidisciplinary approach.Received the best poster presentation award at National conference of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India at Bangalore , Dec2000.
  • Awarded for Volunteering as a part of trauma management team for Gujarat earth quake victims in Feb 01.
  • Awarded by European Association for operating 1000 Craniofacial Syndromes in just three years.
